Alexis and Kaeden's Playdate

A couple of weekends ago Brian and I took Kaeden over to the Knoop household to play. Some of the pictures we got are just so funny that I have to share them. Alexis was crawling and walking all over Kaeden, literally! We were laughing so hard. It's going to be so much fun watching them interact as they get older together!! "Kaeden, I'm just trying to brush your hair so hold still!!"

"Well, if you won't get out of my way, I'll just walk over you!"

Tommy and Kaeden

We were able to keep Kelsey's friend's little boy Tommy over night a couple of weekends ago. He is such a good little boy and LOVES to play with Brian. He really wanted to feed Kaeden his bottle but after he had been feeding him for about 5 seconds, Tommy said "I think he's done now. Let's play Brian." :) We sure are going to miss him when he moves!!!!!!

Warm weather

The weather has been so nice the past few days; I feel spring coming!! We were able to break out the stroller and get Kaeden out for some fresh air. It's so great living back in Portland! It's so much easier to hang out with our friends! I called Teresa up on Sunday and asked her of she wanted to walk with Alexis and Kaeden while the boys were at work. They kids loved the walk and it gave us a chance to chat! I can't wait to do it more often!

Now that the weather is getting nice, I have had the itch to start running again so I am easing my way into it by training for a 5k (I know, it's not that far, don't laugh! A girls gotta start somewhere! :). My plan is to put Kaeden in the stroller on the nice days and take him with me so I get an even better workout and he gets the fresh air, we'll see how we do. :)

Growing Up

Kaeden is growing up so fast! He is now 5 1/2 months old and wears 9 month clothing! What can I say, he loves to eat! :) He grabs at EVERYTHING and puts EVERYTHING in his mouth now so we have to watch what we put in front of him. He especially loves to play with the remote controls. :) New babbles for him: "ba ba" and "da da". We're still working on "ma ma". He is just so stinking cute and I absolutely love to listen to him talk; it's one of my favorite things to hear, especially on the car ride home from the sitters. Seriously, I don't know how we were so blessed with such a good baby!!

He was stricken with the Rotovirus last week so that was no fun! Luckily, after they gave him the IV treatment at the Urgent Care center, he was doing a little better so they didn't have to admit him to the hospital. He is all better now and gaining back the little bit of weight that he lost and then some. :)

Catching up

Well... It's been a busy few months for the Brown's with packing and moving and sickness; which is why I haven't posted anything lately. About two weeks ago we moved from St Johns to Portland and are so excited to be back in town! It makes it so much easier to see our friends and family so much easier for our family to help us out with Kaeden. :) While we moved, my Aunt Kristen and her kids watched Kaeden and by the looks of the picture below, I'd say he had a lot of fun over there!

About a week and a half ago, I came down with a nasty cold that I am still getting over. I feel fine, just have a cough. Unfortunately, I passed it along to Kaeden so now he has it this week. We will be so glad to have this cold weather behind us so we can enjoy being healthy and enjoy the outdoors! :)
