Our 1st home!!

Brian and I went through the long, high anxiety, overwhelming, but oh so worth it process of buying a house and we found one that we LOVE!! Kaeden has his own play room and he LOVES all of the extra space. :) It's on a quite street in the city (Portland), quick access to the Riverwalk, and a city lot right next to us that gives us access to the river! Brian is excited for Kaeden to be old enough to fish and canoe. :) Here are some pictures. Outside pics will have to be posted later because it's raining out and I'm not that dedicated :P.

Allergic Reaction

Kaeden had his first ear infection and we quickly found out that he is allergic to amoxicillian/penicilian. Poor baby. He broke out in hives all over and was an itchy mess for about two days. He would fall asleep when we would itch his head and neck. It was so cute but yet so sad. It's kind of hard to see the rash but here some pics... :)

Potter Park Zoo

We took Kaeden on his first zoo adventure to Potter Park Zoo over the 4th of July weekend! Derek and Jenni went along with us. I think Kaeden’s favorite part of the trip was the petting zoo. The animals would come up to him and he would squeal with excitement. He could have really cared less about the rest of it but LOVED the ice cream! :)

Swimming

Kaeden loves to swim in the Schrauben's pool! We have taken him over there a few times over the past few weeks to escape the heat of the summer. Comes in really handy since we don't have central air (or maybe thats just our excuse to go over there all the time :). Here are a few pics of his swimming adventures.
